Before writing this article, I wanted to calm down and step back. I wanted the experience to be over and behind us for good. But I don’t know if it’s over and I’m still angry, so maybe writing will help, after all.

I’m familiar with the resume-writing exercise. I’ve seen it all, from professional list of accomplishments on glossy paper to handwritten resumes (!).
If you ask me a question, I’ll answer it. I’ve been trained that way, it’s the result of navigating a multicultural relationship and being an immigrant.
