It’s interesting how the qualifications that get an immigrant into Canada are practically useless (depending on where they come from) once they land here. Who’s to blame for this? The immigrant for being uninformed or the government for misinforming them on this reality?

@expatraveler — Well, not really actually. I’d say that each province has its set of laws, especially regarding regulated trades etc. But Quebec is the same.

This is great information — However, please do remember that Quebec almost always has different laws than the rest of Canada so finding work there is probably different. It’s like an entire immigration process once again…
