Arc Of Triomphe

Arc Of Triomphe

And here is the second part of our adventures in Paris.

We walked a lot everywhere: from Notre Dame to the Champs Elysées, from the Louvre to Place Vendôme, along the Jardin des Tuileries and all the way to La Défense, the business district. Phew!

@Agnes — Thank you! Jeans are Esprit’s, bought them in a sale last summer ;-)

@Bluefish — Versailles is quite far, I’d say about an hour. It’s really in the suburb. As for places to stay, I’m not sure… But I do know a cheap hotel on Rue de Rivoli, nearby the Louvre. Email for details ;-)

@Cuckoo — I climbed it only once actually, last year!

@beaverboosh — No, we are back for good in Canada in a couple of days.

@Linguist-in-Waiting — We are coming back now!

@Bill Miller — I was glad to visit your blog, it’s good to catch up with North American life! The kids were skating in front of the Eiffel Tower, they were impressive.

@expatraveler — Just for a few days — after all it’s only two hours from Nantes!

@Seraphine — I wouldn’t like to drive around there… althought maybe once on the Champs just for fun!

@Baoru — The kids were impressive, for sure!

@barbara — Bonne chance avec le médecin, j’espère que tout se remet bien! Je croise les doigts pour toi… :-)

    Hi Zhu,

Beautiful city, just beautiful! When I saw the Pantheon I was like “every European city must have one” because we also have a “Panteão” in Lisboa.

As always, you look great, girl! Blue becomes you!! :D

    Cheers

Loved both the parts Zhu! you made me pretty nostalgic.

We were on quite a shoe string as we travelled around europe with Paris as our base. So sight seeing in Paris used to be on foot. I remember walking many a times from Notredam to Eiffel, along Sienne. The walk was so beautigul

    Thanks for the wonderful posts!

Wow, you were in Paris again! Lovely pictures, which only make me wish to reach there sooner than later.
