mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Simply divine!! Every shot captures the magic of the location! What camera do you use, it really handles night time so well. The header photo is like something out of a travel magazine... totally perfect and so buzzing with electricity.

I also really like the market scenes. I love walking around markets late at night.

Zhu, you really are the master of travel photography! Thank you so much for sharing them with us xxx

Zhu,
I ate the 'better' Beijing Duck near my hotel, but I no longer remember the place.

@Seraphine - China is a great place to be in right now, it has a lot of energy and so much is happening. But this is mostly true for the cities... the Western part of the country isn't so lucky.

@sir jorge - Oh, tell me about it, I'm the biggest fan of Mexican markets.

@princesse ecossaise - Nah, you can have... deep fried caramel apples instead if you like. ;-)

@Bluefish - It is an great treat ;-)

@kyh - I haven't taste this one I think, but I love skewers in general.

@johnada - See, in China, you could go out and eat something right now!

@shionge - I still trust Chinese food. Not so much the processed food but anything fresh.

@Scarlet - I'm looking into direct flights Miami - Beijing

@JoAnn's D Eyes/Holland - Thank you JoAnn for your praise on my pictures!

@Priyank - Not even, these pictures are just point and shoot. I don't have the patience for a tripod!

@Aiglee - Thank you ;-)

@Linguist-in-Waiting - I have never heard that before actually! Most shops tend to open later than in the West. A lot of small businesses (and there are a lot now!) just open whenever it's busy, which is usually a lot. Only franchises and posh shopping malls are 9:00am to 9:00pm.

@Seraphine - Oh tell me about it! I'm not great at translating, even mentally, and I always think in whatever language I'm using, which is confusing!

@RennyBA - It's a great place, very different from Europe. It's more latin in some kind of way.

@khengsiong - Thanks! Where did you eat the best Beijing duck? I find Quanjude okay, if a bit expensive. I found another great place in Wangfujing too.

Great pics. You are a good photographer.

I see the 全聚德 restaurant in one of the picture. Despite its fame, it doesn't serve the best Beijing Duck...

khengsiongs last great read...Democracy – USA vs. Malaysia

Wow. This city never sleeps. Is it true that opening hours for different establishments in the city aren't fixed by a certain time period, say, not everything is open between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM? Instead, there is a rotation? Somebody told me that, I never knew whether it was true, and he said that it was because if it were the case that shops were only open during a certain period of time like say, in the USA, then the shops simply cannot handle the amount of people.
