It reminds me of Manhattan! With a South American flair of course. I would love to see Evita there, that would be fun I think. Glad you stay away from McDonalds. The local food is normally the best experience and part of the trip i would say!

@Tulsa Gentleman — There is always a McDonalds around… I almost never eat there though… Although it could be seen as a cultural experience in a way, given the local flavor (and yes, a post on food is coming!)

@Bluefish — It is almost as lively as Asia! Sorry Bluefish, but I still have troubles accessing your blog. I know it´s not you, just the connexion here…

@Sidney — It´s pretty trendy is cheap as well since the 2002 peso devaluation. Lots of people come to visit.

that looks like sooo much fun. i think i could watch a couple dance a good tango for hours. i love nightlife, too. and sidewalk cafes. now i want to go to buenos aires!
but zhu, don’t you miss the canadian ice and cold? what would you give for a nice fist-full of wet snow down your neck right now?

What would Buenos Aires be without the Tango & the French born Carlos Gardel ? I LOVE the tango
