@Rich B — Ouch, that must be tough. I can’t imagine… I usually sneak out a couple of times during the day to take a short walk around the block and I still have day light when I get up.

You will love Canadian winters though: expect right now (mid-November to mid-December), skies are often deep blue with plenty of sunlight. In fact, this is the sign that the weather is very cold. It’s common to have — 20C and a great sunny day!

I know I have been slow to reply to emails… getting there! But I did read yours

Hey Zhu,

I like your photos: you are a true artist (I know, I have said it before…but hey, I can’t help it before such beauty).

I can’t complain about November this year (usually our November is like yours but 2009 is being different) cause we still have warm weather and the sun goes down at 17:25.

I hope all is well with you…

living outside syracuse NY I know about the “no sunlight” thing-especially since I work 12 hour night shifts. I wake up at 1700 hrs (no sun) go to work, and come home to little (or deeper into winter)or no sun. So I might not see sun for days, except maybe on the TV (thank you travel channel). Great photos juliette
