@Gail at Large – I had a great time, hope you come back sometimes during the winter! Don’t be scared by what I told you. I guarantee it will be above – 60C.

@Seraphine – I know! I had a great time.

@Rich B – Ouch, that must be tough. I can’t imagine… I usually sneak out a couple of times during the day to take a short walk around the block and I still have day light when I get up.

You will love Canadian winters though: expect right now (mid-November to mid-December), skies are often deep blue with plenty of sunlight. In fact, this is the sign that the weather is very cold. It’s common to have – 20C and a great sunny day!

I know I have been slow to reply to emails… getting there! But I did read yours

@Max Coutinho – Everything is great, life is busy though! I almost 18C… wow, I can’t imagine that.

I like your photos: you are a true artist (I know, I have said it before…but hey, I can’t help it before such beauty).

I can’t complain about November this year (usually our November is like yours but 2009 is being different) cause we still have warm weather and the sun goes down at 17:25.

living outside syracuse NY I know about the “no sunlight” thing-especially since I work 12 hour night shifts. I wake up at 1700 hrs (no sun) go to work, and come home to little (or deeper into winter)or no sun. So I might not see sun for days, except maybe on the TV (thank you travel channel). Great photos juliette

Shooting film in Black and white is an art in itself. The greys of the war memorial photo make the red of the maple leaf pop out.
