I love farmers markets.. Nothing better than going to the market and buying fresh produce. I don’t think they let you bargain though.. hehehe

I really like farmer’s market but I haven’t found one near our home yet. Too bad Jean Talon was far from my house back in Montreal.

@Seraphine – I’m not a big carrots fan actually, unless they are cooked. Now, bell peppers are my favorite… I can live on them!

I’m sorry that I missed you guys, falling so close to our stay in the city.
We feel like going back again of course.Hearing the guests at our Quebec B&B talk, we really want to do a longer trip with a car in future.But, we would love to just do a pause again just for Montreal.

those carrots look pretty awesome too. i love carrots that are real sweet. also sweet onions. i guess i have a “sweet tooth” but at least some of the sweet things i like are vegetables!

@Tulsa Gentleman – I love markets, especially given that I mostly eat veggies and very little meat. In Canada, markets are during the nice season only.

@Nigel Babu – It was a great walk!

@Khengsiong – I guess I’m half and half. Supermarkets are convenient are I use them when I travel too, but markets are also kind of cool. Some of the best food I had was bought in the street…

@Linguist-in-Waiting – I love these unexpected colors – makes food fun!

@Sidney – It does, doesn’t it!

@Seraphine – I now have a craving for blueberries pancakes! That’s a yummy breakfast… I should make some this WE.

@Lizz – I actually bought some apple juice from that vendor and the juince was one of the best I have ever drank.

@Beth – Thank you! I want to travel more in Canada, because after all, I only know Québec, Ontario and Manitoba. What’s your favorite place in our big country?
