@Tulsa Gentleman — It is an old plaza! Actually, the building you see at the back was the tallest one in South America for a long while.

Zhu, what is the tall ornate building in the photo titled “old plaza”? I have never seen that style before. Monteverde looks like a neat place.

Aw, that fountain is kind of cute.

I’ve always thought I would like Montevideo best if I ever go to South America. Uruguay has always been the least corrupt, safest and most progressive (yay gay marriage!) of all the countries. And it looks so warm and sunny… I want that right now! Stupid Alps…
