@Agnes – Agreed! I love when I’m “out of the loop” and observing people going to work, coming back home etc. Makes me feel like an outsider in a weird comforting kind of way.

@Baoru – What can you do, some people here are quick! Blae it on the time difference.

@Bluefish – I haven’t started yet! I won’t be packing till Monday, i.e. a day before.

@Jemima – Thank you!

@Sidney – The light is great at this time of the day I find.

@johnada – No, I think he is under cover (i.e. living in Québec)

@Emma – The Parliament is a cool place to visit, the hill is very nice. It is right downtown, I work 5 min. from it.

@Guillermo – Thank you! I bet you recognize all these places

@Annie – I haven’t started packing yet, I usually do that a day before. Now I’m relaxing… just finished work on Wed. and I had to run errants these last few days. But I think I’m ready… well, maybe not mentally, I need more sleep!

@expatraveler – Thank you

@Seraphine – It’s a shame but I haven’t actually been to Mont Tremblant. I have heard it was quite expensive… and I’m not the best skier around

@barbara – We have a bit of snow but nothing dramatic so far. Especially compared to last year. But it is getting really cold and yeah, I’ll be happy to ditch my winter coat Monday!

@kyh – I love Toronto, for sure. I like Ottawa now because I know the cool spots and I grew to like it, even though it is less exciting than TO. I don’t like Montréal though… I find the city cold and confusing. That may be just me because everybody seems to love it!

@RennyBA – Wow, that’s early. Sunset is at 4:30 here and I already find it depressing…

@Livingsword – Thank you! Yeah, the Parliament is big and central. I used to joke that it can be seem from almost anywhere downtown!

I enjoyed that !!
Each city has it’s own energy and patterns of life.
It’s nice to try and capture some of this. And snow is now with you in Canada.
So, you will be leaving the cold & snow & warming up in South America ! I bet you can’t wait
