Pumpkins At The Byward Market

It’s pumpkin day in North America!

I personally think we should make it “chocolate day”… Seriously, a pumpkin pie vs. a chocolate tart: I made my choice!

In case you ask… yes, I took the pictures during the weekend, before the snow storm!

    Happy Halloween! Hope you did attend a party or two… that’s the only thing I love about Halloween. :)

    @Seraphine – I have been kissing pumpkins for years and I still drive a shitty car. Don’t bother.

    @Bluefish – We did have kids, but fewer than last year. Weird considering the weather was gorgeous.

    @Caroline – There were a lot of kids last year but not so many this year. Not sure why…

    @Linguist-in-Waiting – I’m sure these pumpkins are edible. But who knows pumpkin recipes for months! Cause it would take a while to finish them…

    @Sidney – Thank you!

    @Seraphine – Nah, I’m not a pumpkin person. In a soup, I don’t mind, but not as a sweet.

    @johnada – Nope, no carving for me this year (no time) but I did feed a few zombies ;-)

    @Khengsiong – These ones were small, maybe the two tennis ball together? The deep orange ones were huge though.

    The pumpkins in the first 2 pictures look small. Or do they? There is nothing to compare their size.
