@Beth — It is a beautiful season, my favorite after summer. The Indian summer and then the cool Fall are special to me… we need the transition before winter too.

Hey Zhu !

So so beautiful!! I love autumn!
But here in Portugal “it still smells like summer”: it is hot hot hot (30ºC), but this is normal here. Our autumn will come in November or so.

ohhh! in the bottom left photo, those brown things: if you break them in half, each half is like a combination seed-and-wing. when you throw one up in the air, it spins down to the ground. i don't know what they are really called, but we used to call them helicopters when i was growing up. .-= Seraphine´s last blog ..I’m So Lost… =-.

Down here all we get is cooler temperatures and shorter days. Oh and less humidity. And no tourists of course. Except for the snowbirds
