I was tagged by Max on this funny meme : My Desktop. So here it is !

I wasn’t supposed to change anything so it’s a bit messy and a bit er… red. Well, you know me, right ! I used to have Chinese propaganda posters as desktop wallpaper, glad I changed a while ago ! :lol:

I don’t have too many icons on my desktop because I use a dock under Windows XP. Still, you can see a few of my folders : “to read” (bunch of pages I copy from the web) and “to print” (usually my work schedule and my students plans for the week).Here is my dock : it usually sits on top of my desktop but for some reason it didn’t show on the first screenshot (autohide probably…).
It has shortcuts to :

  • My computer
  • My documents
  • My blog (well, yes !)
  • Firefox, IE & Yahoo mail
  • Media player & My Music
  • My pictures & My videos
  • The “to print” folder and “My work” (all my classes)
  • Weather etc.

You can download a dock like that from Objectdock or Rocketdock if you feel like trying. I used Rocketdock a lot at first but it bugged a lot so I switched.

So, here are some desktop I’d like to see !

  • Sir Jorge, author of Video Store Blues (you spend so much time on the web, I want to see what your computer looks like !)
  • Aiglee, author of A new life in Canada (she’s a new blog friend and an newcomer to Canada as well !)
  • Lori, author of Blogging with cents (another blog-addict… I’d be curious to see all your blog links on your desktop !)
  • Deadpoolite, author of Deadpool’s laughing den (er… if everything is in Greek don’t blame me !)
  • Kiviniar, of Life as Kiviniar (I met him at Bloggeries, he’s good with blogs and directories, trust me !)

    I will have to sanitize it a bit for your mortal eyes:] but it will be soon displayed for the whole world to see…

    Oh what an ominous day for the blogosphere and humanity overall…. there is a storm coming you know… after I unleash my desktop upon your eyes a whole new world will be opened right in front of them….
