I was tagged by Max on this funny meme : My Desktop. So here it is !
I wasn’t supposed to change anything so it’s a bit messy and a bit er… red. Well, you know me, right ! I used to have Chinese propaganda posters as desktop wallpaper, glad I changed a while ago ! 
I don’t have too many icons on my desktop because I use a dock under Windows XP. Still, you can see a few of my folders : “to read” (bunch of pages I copy from the web) and “to print” (usually my work schedule and my students plans for the week). My dock usually sits on top of my desktop but for some reason it didn’t show on the first screenshot (autohide probably…).
It has shortcuts to :
- My computer
- My documents
- My blog (well, yes !)
- Firefox, IE & Yahoo mail
- Media player & My Music
- My pictures & My videos
- The “to print” folder and “My work” (all my classes)
- Weather etc.
You can download a dock like that from Objectdock or Rocketdock if you feel like trying. I used Rocketdock a lot at first but it bugged a lot so I switched.

Now that is an original meme. Your desktop is much cleaner than mine, I have lots of stuff floating around that should get put away nicely into folders. Okay, I’m off to clean up my act

I came to comment on your comment made on “Morally Bankrupt”. You said “I hate to disagree with you” I am glad that you disagree with me
! What kind of people would we be if we would constantly agree with each other? Besides a good debate is based on people disagreeing with each other, right?
You made referrence to the Law of the Tao: everything is a circle, everything moves in a circle (I confess: I do Tai Chi lol)!
Of course not all Romans abode to those values. They could even pretend to abide to them, and behind-scenes be real assholes! However they tried..
Nowadays we flaunt our moral inferiority with such a nonchalant attitude that it shocks me: we are not even trying to camouflage it! And when one stops trying, eventually society will fall in decay, wearing the “futility” crown on its head!
