It’s an old post but you can see the Parliament in the first picture. The Peace Tower is the central tower, with the clock.

@Tulsa Gentleman — Yes, you wouldn’t even notice you are in Quebec but for the French only sign and the famous “arrêt” (“stop”) signs! A lot of peoople live on the Quebec side and work in Ottawa, and vice-versa. Interestingly, the legal drinking age is only 18 in Quebec vs. 19 in Ontario, so lots of kids go drinking across the river on WE!

Only if you live in Quebec you have to change your license plate, health card etc. Same as moving from one state to another I guess.
