Keep travelling! I don't blame you -- it's not something a person can do forever because the body eventually deteriorates and it's tough to get around without getting creaky. Enjoy it while you can.

@Bluefish - Nah, we still need more traveling, it´s like an addiction!

@Tulsa Gentleman - Probably a few more months then! I love this trip. I feel I´m old enough to enjoy it and yet we have the energy. And blogging about it is a challenge I truly enjoy too!

@Adem - I have been posting quite a lot lately, that´s true! I was tired of blogging about Ottawa :-)

@Art - Happy new year! Sorry for the lack of comments, I do read but I don´t have much time.

@Linguist-in-Waiting - Well, we are used to it so I don´t mind. Only once I was sick of traveling. In 2003, we spent 6 months in Australia and New Zealand and then 2 months at home, and another 3 months in Mexico, Guate, Belize and Honduras. I just needed a break after that, I was tired.

@anuz - Oh yeah, definitely. Spanish conjugations and French´s are almost the same. Italian is close too, and so is Portuguese (but the pronouciation is tough for that one though). Spanish is actually pretty easy to learn, especially if you can practice with a native speaker.

@Scarlet - I did not know that! Gotta buy some yellow then!

@Max Coutinho - I love this trip, it is a lot of fun! Yeah, Canada in January is a big no no for me

@barbara - I heard that, my parents are actually gonna buy some wood because they are freezing in Nantes and well, EDF is EDF... expensive!Cold winters in France are hard, because old buildings do not keep the heat. Hope you are warm!

@silverneurotic - Gotta love these N. American demonstrations! We are going in the mountains after so we will be cold at one point.

I'm glad that you are enjoying your travels. Right now I'm looking at another snowy and icy day tomorrow here in NY and I'm envious at the warm (hot) weather you are enjoying right now. Too bad I don't have the money to travel at the moment.

By the way, on Sunday I had the opportunity to meet my French penpal when she visited NYC. She was telling me her experience seeing an "American" protest and I immediately thought of you.

Enjoy your trip to Peru! They wear yellow undies there for good luck. You may want to buy a pair...just for giggles. ;)

This is I suppose where we differ. I like what you are doing, but I cannot imagine myself traveling for more than a month. In fact, my summer travel last year, from July 3 to 30, 2008, broken down into 3 days in Helsingor, 6 days in Odense, 3 days in Copenhagen, 2 days in Budapest, 4 days in Vienna, and the remaining days back in Budapest while seeing what's around it was tiresome. Mind you, this was not purely a tourism trip, I had a conference in Odense, and I inserted a few days before and after that for sight-seeing in other parts of Denmark, then I visited my folks in Hungary, so I wasn't even exerting myself trying to see everything that there is to see. But the main tiring thing is the lack of routine. I guess my personality wants a clock, a routine, and obviously, while traveling, that is not possible. So as much as I would want to travel the way you do, you know, for months at a time, I know I cannot stand it. I just have to live vicariously through you!
