A Baby Exploring Nantes’ Landmarks

We went back to the Château des Ducs de Bretagne with Mark (he was sleeping the first time) and he loved it. Well, I don’t know if he loved it but he did enjoy playing with the chains holding the massive drawbridge.

We also stopped by the former LU cookies factory, with its trademark blue and red tower. It is now a trendy café—the Lieu Unique—and we had a Breizh Cola (the local Coke) and a European-size cup of coffee outside, in the lawn chairs.

All things considered, Mark adapted very well to France and a brand-new environment. He loves eating bread and cookies (and he now has two brand new teeth!), loves my parents and grand-parents and seeing the new sights. Yep, I am proud of him… he does very well as a mini-traveller!
