Ah Paris! In the spring, the city is quite nice actually.
We spent a few days there, walking around the main sights and taking pictures. We have both been there many times, but it’s always fun to check out the city of light!
On Saturday, I also got the chance to meet a fellow blogger, lovely Barbara (Home In France) and her husband, Didier. I met her where she lives, in the suburb of Paris and we chatted for a little while (she speaks perfect French!) about life in France and traveling. Nice meeting you Barbara, and thanks again for the chocolate egg (somebody knew my weakness…!).
As always, beautiful pictures! 🙂
Hi Zhu! The top panoramic pic is simply awesome… as usual! 😉
Have a great day! Good weather is finally here!
Salut Zhu,
Nice to hear from you 😉 I was very excited about seeing you also. It really made our day !
Lovely photos and a great weather to stroll around and enjoy the sights. I definately love exploring Paris & experiencing ( you NEVER know evrything there), but I much more prefer my quiet suburb home.
Check you out later & thank you for the write up.

Oh la la! I’d love to visit Paris one day-is a week enough? I also like to visit Versaille and Mont Saint-Michel 🙂
Your photos are gorgeous 🙂
Paris is truly a beautiful city. I could spend forever in the Louve. I was there in early 2000 when it was lit up for the millennium and it was truly the City of Light. Thanks for the photo of the Mime. I sat down next to one on a bench thinking it was a statue and he scared the crap out of me when he moved.
Are those all people lining up to get inside the Louvre? Oh my, if I were to visit, I will probably find a way to get tickets before I arrive!
i am soo jealous! paris is so amazing. i loved sacre coeur and the kids outside with their blankets and trinkets (and watching them grab everything and run away when the police came near). also the cafes.
Wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa………now you make me ‘itch’ to book my next flight out to Paris Zhuuuuuuuuu………… 😉
Love it!! Love it!!! Looooooovvvvveeee PARIS!!! 😀
Hey Zhu,
It is always a pleasure to see Paris! And your vision of it is always a delight! 😀
That mime is great: he really looks like a statue!
I love Paris, I confess!
Congrats for the great photos!!
Salut!
Hey Zhu 🙂 Great photos. The very last photo is so amazing (all of them are but the last one is my favorite). I just love European cities… Believe it or not I’ve never been to the Louvre and I’ve never seen Jim Morrison’s grave.
I actually have relatives who live in Paris, so I really have no excuse. Oh how I wish I spoke French 🙂
Hello! It’s been way to long Zhu. Hope you are enjoying your trip, Paris is one of my favorite cities!
Hope you’ve been well!
Hugs,
Sebastien
So beautiful!! I really want to go to France, hopefully next year 🙂
Keep enyoing 😀
Great pictures again, Zhu!
The place never changes! Still as charming. 😉
Wish the pictures are bigger…
The Moulin Rouge has very striking color!
@Baoru – Thank you!
@Guillermo – Gracias! 🙂
@barbara – To live, yeah, I like your lovely place best. But it’s always fun to explore Paris for a little while!
@Bluefish – I have actually never been to Versailles to be honest. The Mont St Michel is cool though!
@Bill Miller – 😆 There were also mimes dressed like Ramses, they looked so real!
@Linguist-in-Waiting – There were a lot of tourists, much more than last year. We didn’t visit inside this time.
@Seraphine – The Sacré Coeur is fun, I like this spirit there, always something happening.
@shionge – Come on the dqrk side… 😆
@Max Coutinho – I wish I could visit Portugal, the more I learn about it through your blog, the more I want to go. If only Europe was’t so expensive…
@Agnes – I have never seen Jim’s grave either come to think of it! Le Louvre is great but it takes at least a full day to get to see the main stuffs. We were exhausted last year after visiting!
@Seb – Hi Seb, glad to hear from you! It has been a while… cool to see you back.
@Aiglee – Anytime, I’ll give you tips 🙂
@Tanya – Thank you!
@kyh – true; it doesn’t change, but it’s still a nice break!
@Khengsiong – I usually upload all the pics in my Flickr (which you can access by clicking on the “pics” in the menu bar). They are much bigger!
Wow – you sure got around, great pics!
