After a week in Paris, let me show you the best places in the capital!
The Moulin Rouge in Pigalle and the Opera house (yeah, I know, not the same kind of venues…)

J’adore le Centre Pompidou.
It was one of the first and last things I remember about studying French in high school. We didn’t go in when I was in Paris a couple of years later, but I wish we would have. I’m really not sure what’s inside, but I really like saying Pompidou.

Awww…. You really make me nostalgic. Miss paris a lot 🙁
Lovely pictures as always. Sacre cour and Eiffel are indeed the loveliest places in Paris, but you completely missed the nicest part of Paris, the river Sienne. Also Place du Concorde and some views from top of the top of Eiffel our so lovely.
Keep posting…wish I could be back to Paris!

@Spyder – Thank you — Merci!
@sir jorge – It’s hard to miss a good pix in Paris…!
@Keshi – You’re in OZ girl, not too bad either!
@Froggywoogie – Couldn’t find the Elysée unfortunately…
@itelli – Merci!
@ammaro – Paris doesn’t change much. Life does, so do the people, but not the place itself I found.
@Ghosty – No way…eh?
@durano lawayan – I had a great time! Just wished I had internet that week, so many things to blog about… trying to catch up on my feed right now!
@Art – Yes, the trip is great!
@Theresa – I wish I could go to Spain, haven’t been in a while… Next time maybe!
@johnada – To be honest, we didn’t even go because stupid French museums (Pompidou is an art place) close on Tuesday. We went on a Tuesday. We didn’t know 😳
@Beaverboosh – Haven’t seen Castorbush yet… might have been deported by Sarko. Gotta double check…
@Mayank – I have some more pictures coming, don’t worry. I think we’ve been pretty much everywhere, that said it was a bit too cold for a nice walk by the Seine.
@Linguist-in-Waiting – Yeah, there is! Pigalle, where the Moulin Rouge is, is the red light district. Pretty hardcore… And the Moulin Rouge is much smaller than most American (cf. the movie) think!
Drools.

Wow, that’s some hell nice pictures! I need to visit Paris. The funny thing was that the recent book I read was the destruction of Paris from a laser beam located on the moon. Maybe that’s a sign considering what I just saw now hahaha!
Bring me back some souvenirs!!

Thanks for sharing this and for taking me down the memory lane as I was in Paris in 67 with my family. I can’t believe I haven come back to this lovely city with the beautiful architecture and nice place to eat and relax.
I so much remember The Eiffel Tower and how sorry I am now for not going to the top of it. Hopefully next time 🙂

Hey Zhu,
I miss Paris 😛 ! Beautiful photos, girl!!! Were the waiters nicer to you this time 🙂 ?
I love the Opera, Notre-Dame, Montmartre…didn’t get the chance to go to Pigalle though (my mom loves it) 😥 !
Thanks for the opportunity to review some great Parisian places! I am looking forward to next session…
Cheers

@Mme. Meow – Sorry
@CM-Chap – Paris is nice to visit…
@Shan – You, barbarian, don’t destroy Paris! 😆
@shionge – I like seeing Paris as a tourist, it’s fun!
@alexander – Thank you! Yes, the trip is nice.
@RennyBA – Wow, I can’t believe it’s been that long for you! 67… one year later and you would have been stuck in the middle of the French revolution! 😆 Gotta come back visit some day 😉
@Max Coutinho – Pigalle is a bit weird… it’s the red light district, so even though it’s not dangerous, it can be quite tough. That said it’s nice during the day!
Waiters were… being themselves 😆
