Blizzard? Checked!

The weather channel didn’t lie, indeed. The forecast I posted in Seven Canadian Winter Facts was right on. This is what my Sunday looked like…

Just looking through the window, I could tell it was a lot of snow. And it was only noon. And blizzard was still raging.

This is my best “what’s the fuck” face. That was right before I saw the roof.

I attempted to shovel the front porch, just to be able to stand there a few minutes (yeah, cigarette craving makes you do the craziest things). The only things were: 1) There were at last 30cm of snow to be cleared 2) It was around -20C with wind chill 3) The snow was blown right in my face thanks to the blizzard, like in the second pic. That’s where I decided it sucked.

Later in the afternoon, Feng and I, fascinated, decided to step out to take a few pics (the front porch was getting boring). We jumped in the snow and managed to walk in front of the driveway.

We rediscover that it was indeed mucho snow. Gee. As if we needed to double check…

Monday morning was hell, as we planned. Well, I know technically hell is supposed to be quite hot, but trust me, the Canadian version is bloody cold.
