Canadian skies always amaze me:
The sky can be amazingly blue, without a single cloud.
Sometimes, the sky is just scarred a bit.
Sometimes, big clouds take over the landscape.
Sometimes, clouds look like cotton candy.
Sunsets are often pretty impressive.
And pastel sunrise light feels amazingly peaceful.
And sometimes it just looks like a painting.
It’s awesome, I’m jealous of your sky!

I absolutely LOVE Canadian skies! For some reason I always feel like I’m closer to it. That it’s lower than the sky in the USA. Like I could reach up & grab it so I could hold on to it.

I agree, it is gorgeous – I grew up about 70 miles from the Canadian border and I often miss those clear blue skies now that I’m in Bretagne.
Wow, amazing … another reason to visit Canada, I originally wanted to go to see the Northern Lights … but these skies are beautiful!

Great pictures Zhu! So beautiful 🙂 Yesterday my brother in law was telling me how depressing can winter skies be, and you come and post those pictures… wow!
Froggiewoogie: I know… in Brittany, all we had was grey sky…
Spyder: that’s kind of true actually ! Skies here are truly different.
Deadpoolite: thanks for noticing my genetic thing for art in general ! You must have some nice skies over there too… don’t you ?
Samantha: yep. Brittany is a lot a lot of rain…!
Aiglee: don’t listen to him! Skies are truly beautiful, expect when snowing of course.
Ghosty: I’ve always wanted to see the Northern lights too… But for now, I’m quite happy with Ottawa’s skies !

Great shots, Zhu. You’re right, there is a special blue.
One of the best things about winter is a freezing cold day with cloudless blue skies above and endless white on the ground. Something to look forward to!

These are breathtaking, Zhu! I really enjoyed looking at them. The sky where I live in the US can be beautiful, too, just as in all these photos. It’s something I really love about where I live.
I really like your new picture of yourself in your sidebar, too. You’re very pretty 🙂

Wow… your photographs are fantastic. The blueness of the sky is breathtaking. One can almost smell the freshness of the air. I have had a good look through your flickr library and found many of your photos so enjoyable.
It is a real please to come and visit your blog and an equally enjoyable pleasure to see the world through your eyes.

MOGli: what’s weather like other there ? I thought you’d get some of these cold-blue skies too !
Sir Jorge: I’ve heard that Seattle’s weather is very similar to Brittany’s, so I can just imagine.
I am seriouly impressed by those photos! Great job.

Wow! Those are excellent pictures. One of the problems in India is that the sky rarely looks blue in the big cities. They are usually grey due to all the pollution!
Lovely Photos…wishing for some clear blue skies in this cold Parisien weather!
