After he is fed and changed, Mark knows that if the light is good enough, it’s “picture time”—he probably sees it as “mommy making silly faces and hiding behind a big black eye.” Well, at least the silly faces make him laugh!
I mostly take snapshots of him alone, but occasionally, one of us sits for the photo with Mark… or the three of us, by setting the timer on the camera.
We’ve been going out more and more and had the chance to take a few pictures outside as well, including on one of the many outdoor skating rinks opened for the season. And no, I didn’t trip on the ice with the baby strapped to me.
It’s still hard to say who Mark looks like the most and frankly, I don’t care. He is our little boy, a mix of both of us and a cute little human being—that’s good enough for me!
He looks so adorable!
I’ll tell him 😉
I particularly like the family pictures. I think because, to me, it makes it all so “real”! 🙂
Being a family is still new and somewhat surreal to me!
He’s so adorable! I love the 11th pic of you and Mark – him am giggly 🙂
We have our moments 😉
Precious shots Zhu and great family photos, treasure all of them 😀
Thank you Shionge!
He looks like his father!
He does, doesn’t he? He is like a mini-Feng!
Cute, cute, cute! He looks like Feng with chipmonk cheeks. I like the feet.
I know, he really looks like his dad!
Hi Zhu! It’s been a long time! First of all, congrats on the new addition to your family! He’s very cute 🙂 Pictures have turned out great. I was in Ottawa a few weekends ago – so cooold!
Yep, it’s been cold in Ottawa… it’s this time of the year I guess! Did you like the city though?
Yep, I liked the city. I especially enjoyed the free 45-min tour of the parliament hall.
The Parliament is awesome. One of my favourite places in Ottawa. Glad you liked it!
Hi Zhu,
These are so nice!! You are right to take advantage of some sun to get some fresh air and enjoy some photography!
It is nice to see Feng with his little boy, too 🙂
I enjoyed these a lot. Have a wonderful Monday!!
Thank you Barb!
Hi Zhu,
Cute baby! You really have a nice blog here. I enjoy reading all your articles. I was born in China and immigrate to Canada after spending several years in England. We have a 14 months old boy, too. So I really understand what you’re talking about.
Best wishes.
Hi Jun,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a message. Your baby boy must be cute! Is he a mix as well? Are you living in Canada now?
Such a cutie! I think he looks like both of you.
Thank you!
What a beautiful baby you have, Zhu!
Congratulations!
Thank you! Mark is blushing 🙂
