Flower Power

The whole world can worry about global warming, here in Canada we enjoy it (as long as it doesn’t melt our piece of ice up there). We should be seeing red leaves and have chilly weather on the way, but flowers are blooming everywhere. Go figure!

  1. BEAUTIFUL pictures chica!! Oh how I would love to visit those places and pick those flowers:)
You’re site looks good. Do you love WordPress??

  2. I love these images. Yes, the seasons do not know what is going on, it is confusing the plants and the animals alike. We had roses come out irden way before schedule. I thinkt he birds thought it was Spring here way before Spring even began. It is scary. It is also sad. We do as much as we can as a family to conserve water and do things right by nature..but not every1 does it. I wish it could be so….my way of figuring, I hope it is never too late to do the right thing by the good Mother Earth.

  3. Ghosty : in the spring, we don’t get much. I mean, first we have to get out of the igloo, then fight polar bears, so it’s hard to enjoy.

Just kidding ! Spring is beautiful too but a bit sudden sometimes.

Lori: no picking the flowers !

I lie WP but it still drives me crazy sometimes… 😆

Keshi : Canada is truly beautiful, these are the kind of stuffs I rarely see in France, that’s true ! 😉

Cazzie: thanks for visiting ! Yes, the seasons are a bit crazy. Last year, it didn’t even snow for Xmas ! That was just weird. Summer was really late this year, I guess that’s why we’re blessed with this weather… still, I’m not sure it’s normal.

  4. Beautiful beautiful pics! Love the red leaves one. WOW!

Canada is indeed a very pretty nation…I’ve read alot abt it’s natural beauty.

    Some great shots there Zhu!
    Keshi.

  5. Beautiful pictures as always and it seems like a really good period for someone to visit Canada. Dont worry I cant afford it , lol(just joking gal!)

Still, where is my blog in your blogroll , I mean after all this time I though we had something special….Goodbye cruel world, goodbye blogging insanity, goodbye Eva Mendes sexual fantasies….

Hey, wait a minute… I am still there … forgot I changed my blog name since inception…ooookkkk…embarrassing moment coming up….better split….while I got some Merc dignity intact(dignity is highly overrated in my life values system by the way, lol).

Hope you are having a good time and talk to ya soon!

  6. nice pics! i’m loving this weather too. it went down into the 30s a couple of weeks ago, but thank god, it went back up. today we’re at 80 degrees! hell YES!

  7. Hi Zhu,

I’ve been having a “look-see” around your blog. I like it.

Your English is very good – much better than my French although I speak and read it reasonably fluently. But written French – that’s tough. Luckily, I have a French wife.

And my children are being brought up with two languages and have dual nationality.

Why WordPress rather than Blogger? I set up a WordPress blog but found it difficult to use. Possibly because I’m stupid but that’s another story.

    P.S. Great pix.

  8. Hey Zhu!

You are right: such beautiful flowers!!!
Well, I must confess one thing (bring your ear closer): I, too, am enjoying this global warming thing *shiuuuu*! In Portugal, today is 28ºC – how great is that?

    Cheers

  9. Lis of the North on

Zhu it looks so beautiful and warm and not at all like here. Today it has been windy and raining and cold!
Thanks for some snapshots of an Indian summer 🙂

  10. Deadpoolite : I wouldn’t even dare to take you out of my blogroll. We all know about Greek revenge stories ! Seriously…! 🙄 😆

    Jess : thanks !

Webmiztris : 80 degrees ? Wow, that must be hot ! Oh wait a sec… you mean Fahrenheits, right ? 😛

Silverneurotic : well, don’t forget Canada is also cold and snow… a lot of both probably coming soon !

Dumdad : Thank you ! Means a lot to me – I struggled with English at first, it’s never easy to write in another language… but I’m trying and it’s much easier now !

Moving to WordPress… well, Blogger is great to start a blog, but I wanted to have my own domain (vain me !) and I was interested in the other side of blogging, the codding. WP also offers a lot of flexibility, I can tweak my blog as I want ! So I made the move.

WP.com isn’t that good, I’d recommend Blogger. But self-hosted WordPress is pretty good 😉

Max : I didn’t know it was hot in Europe too ! My parents keeps on complaining about the weather !

Lis : ah, a stereotype of English weather ! 😆

Itelli : Flower power, I’m telling ya !
