We landed in Chile right before the New Year party in Santiago. Then we flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina and travelled by bus to Rosario, Paraná, Concordia, crossed to Uruguay and discovered Salto, Montevideo, La Paloma and Punta del Diablo. We crossed to Brazil in Chuy, still by bus, and started with Pelotas, then Porto Alegre, Ilha de Santa Catarina, Balneário Camboriú, Curitiba… and we arrived right on time in Rio de Janeiro for the Carnival!
