Love is a Battlefield – Babies Are Stronger Than You’d Think!

Small but Strong
Small but Strong

The strength of babies always surprises me. You wouldn’t think these tiny little things can wrestle with a grown-up… yet they do. And they are strong!

Mark now uses both of his hands very well and loves grabbing—and sucking on—anything. Toys, blankets, clothes, fingers (preferably mine), hands (preferably mine), hair (again, mine)… It’s cute but very tiring, especially when I am tired. He can also turn onto his belly and it makes changing him a WWE match—he wriggles, tries to break free, grab anything within reach and kick all he can. Seriously. I have bruises from that abusive relationship with my not-even-six-month-old son.

The room looks like a battlefield after he plays with his toys—Sophie la Giraffe and Winnie squeak desperately and the elephant is covered with drool. Lapin is nowhere to be seen, probably thrown away across the room. Yep, he discovered throwing.

On the plus side, I don’t think I need to hit the gym. I have my personal trainer at home!
