It was a last-minute decision—Feng and I drove to Montréal to see The Killers. The show was initially sold out but then it was moved to a bigger venue, the Bell Centre.

It was our first time back in Montréal since the very muddy Radiohead concert last year. This time, the weather was gorgeous… but we were indoors.

The Australian hard-rock band, Wolfmother, opened the show. By contrast, The Killers offered a much more electronic and alternative rock repertoire. Nonetheless, the show was very good and all the hit songs were played.

And of course, I sneaked in with my camera.

Girl, you always impress me with your photography skill and your secret to sneak in a SLR camera! Bell Center always check people unless you have a compact one hidden in your pocket.

Now I really miss home 🙁

Live concert is always the best, good choice! Glad you could sneak in your cam too.

I remember last time I was at a concert like that – Rolling Stones in Oslo, Norway two years ago: No camera allowed, but who cares – thousands of pics and even movies was taken with mobile phones 🙂

Wow, this looks like a hell of a party. Probably too loud for an old geezer like me but it sure looks like a good time. Great photos.

@Bluefish – It wasn’t that hard to sneak in the camera actually, just one guy checked the bags. It was a good venue… and I loved Montreal under a blue sky.

@RennyBA’s Terella – I think that’s why venues are not too picky with cameras anymore. They know people can always use cell etc.

@Tulsa Gentleman – It was loud for me too, I had ear plugs 😆

@Sidney – Thank you! Yes, the place was packed.

@Seraphine – I like their music… the Human song is quite catchy.

I’m not very familiar with this band but I’ve heard a lot of good things about them over the years. You’ve really been hitting up some good concerts!
