The Château des Ducs de Bretagne is one of Feng’s favourite hangouts in Nantes. I can see why: it’s a short ten-minute walk from my parents’ place, it’s pretty unique and it’s free.

Last summer, we used to sit on the grass and let Mark crawl around us. This year, we need to watch out: he tries to chase the ducks and I’m always afraid he is going to fall into the moat!

So we decided to go up, and we took him for the grand tour—the rampart walk. We followed the sentry walk linking the seven towers, with great views of the inner courtyard and the city.

Mark’s hair is looking tres chic I these pics! He is too adorable. I would love a moat around my house to keep certain neighbours out!

😆 That would be a cool way to solve a neighborhood’s issues!
