Christmas Lights in France and a Fascinated Baby

I must admit I felt like a kid when I saw the Christmas decorations in Nantes—eyes wide open, mesmerized.

In Canada, streets are too wide to hang decorations (at least that’s what I’m assuming since I have never seen any there). The Parliament does have some Christmas lights but it’s been too cold to enjoy them after dark.

In Nantes, there are decorations and lights everywhere. Businesses in the city core want to attract shoppers from all over the region and they take pride in turning the city into a ‘’ville lumière“, a ”city of lights”.

Mark loves it. I mean, this kid was going nuts over the Christmas tree at Best Buy, so you can imagine how he feels about the windows at the Galerie Lafayette, the Christmas markets, street lights, etc.!
