Although I can appreciate nice landscapes, I am still an urban person and I cannot imagine living in the country. I like being surrounded by people, I like the messiness and chaos of cities, the pollution, the dirt, the noise… all the downsides of city living don’t bother me much. But above all, I love cities and people’s little oddities and quirks. A funny sign, graffiti, patterns… it is fascinating.

I gave you snapshots of the People of Nantes, here are a few urban fragments of my hometown, collected during my walks!

    I love the pics of your urban fragments. I remember this time when it was far easier to photograph. Now if they aren’t in the stroller you have to keep your eye on them and chase them everywhere… Ah the walking, toddler/big kid stages.. 🙂

    I have to make it out to Nantes one day! Not to many people talk about Nantes in France as a great place to visit, but your photos prove otherwise.
