All kinds of people are wandering around the city at night. Most of them are looking for food, booze, social interactions, entertainment or a relaxing break before going to sleep. Many just took the long way home to enjoy the cooler weather and endless sunset after a hard day’s work—it’s summer, it won’t last forever, may as well savour what’s left of it.
Home is close enough, chores are completed, it’s time to slow down.
And suddenly, just like that and just for us, the city puts on an amazing and unexpected show. Lights reflect on water, the moon shines, everything looks magically and disconcertingly different.
