Today is Chinese New Year, and our multicultural house is celebrating the beginning of spring (not quite there yet in Canada!) and the beginning of the year of the Snake.

Our first choice was Sushi 88 but it was closed for the day, so we went next door to Yummy Sushi, an all-you-can-eat sushi place I had never tried.
In Canada, I discovered a lot of new products that don’t exist in France and foods I just wasn’t familiar with.
Ottawa is addicted to Phở, the famous and delicious Vietnamese soup.
The grass is always greener on the other side, croissants are always more buttery in France and ethnic food is always tastier in Canada.
The more I wander around Nantes, the more I wonder whether the French still eat French food.
