Once in a while, I get bored with my blog theme—not the actual content (phew!), the visual side. Problem is, tweaking the front-end can be very time-consuming and I try to focus on writing content instead. Besides, my CSS, php and general coding skills are limited.

But I thought it was time for a change. Arthemia, my previous theme, was a bit outdated. So here is a brand-new blog theme, based on Sahifa and customized by moi!

This is the latest stage in the evolution of this blog.

So, what’s new?

  • The menu bar is better organized, with sub-sections in the “This Blog” and “Life in Canada” sections.
  • A more comprehensive “Life in Canada” section with a few guidelines, my immigration story, my immigration timeline and useful resources.
  • Better typography to make articles more enjoyable to read.
  • Easy subscription if you want to receive the articles by email (check out the sidebar!).
  • New pictures in the slideshow (finally!).

I’m still working on fixing the last bugs—sorry about that, it may take a few days. If you see anything wrong, let me know!

I hope you will enjoy the new look!

Thank you! It takes time to implement a new theme… I have been wanting to change for a while but I was lazy.
