Let’s be positive:
… This year, there’s absolutely no chance my in-laws will try to tempt me with a big, uncomfortable birthday dinner in a Chinese restaurant.
… With all the lockdowns and quarantines, people are desperate for entertainment. This could be the perfect timing to start querying agents and publishers again! (I also have a short story to download for free, if you’re bored…)
… We have enough toilet paper at home.
… Both of my parents and my two siblings remembered my birthday, a rare occurrence in our family.
… I’m home for my birthday, just as planned when the virus didn’t even exist.
… I made it back to Canada from Chile during the COVID-19 pandemic, after a long, crazy flight—but that’s a story for tomorrow!
Welcome home.
Thank you!
Happy Birthday!! Glad you made it home!
Thank you!
Happy birthday Juliette!!!

Joyeux anniversaire, et merci pour le partage!

Happy prime numbered birthday!
For tomorrow’s post about your flight back, we expect Adventures! Excitment! Mystery! Old Curses! or else we’ll be veeeeery disappointed.
The “fun” part is coming, I promise!
Joyeux anniversaire ! Et bon retour chez nous, contente que tu sois bien arrivée.

Selamat Ulang Tahun! all the best!
Joyeux anniversaire (avec pas mal de retard) !
Tu as tout à fait raison d’essayer de voir le bon côté des choses 🙂
I’m trying to… be wiser? Oh, screw it. Week two, it sucks 😆

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY !!!
