I had never thought I would participate in a Skype Easter egg hunt but hey, it’s 2021 and any sense of normalcy went out of the window in March 2020.
Fortunately, the Easter Bunny got the memo. He is up to date with bordure closures and other restrictions. Believe it or not, he dropped a letter addressed to Mark on my bed—or rather, he gave it to my little elephant.
Hi, Mark, I know you’re reading the blog from time to time.
Anyway, I took pictures of it, posted them on Skype and Mark immediately noticed it was actually a badly drawn map of the house with mysterious red dots.
“I’m pretty sure this is where Easter eggs are…”
So Mark went egg hunting in Ottawa and found chocolate in the bathroom, the living room, his room and the biggest one of all in my bedroom.
This is so unfair. The only chocolate I got is the Lindt chocolate I bought at the supermarket.

So fun!
Best I could do 😉
Lindt fait de bons chocolats. Il y a des saveurs assez sympas. Par contre, je suis partial envers le Côté d’Or en barre pour des raisons nostalgiques.
Moi, c’est les Pyrénéens de Lindt…
So cute !
Did you guy celebrate at home as well? Easter egg hunt?
actually no lol. I actually hate Easter egg hunt. But he got chocolate from Nana so that was better.
What do you hate about it? I have good memories of it from childhood but yeah, as a parent, it’s a bit of a (fun) chore..
I feel like the meaning of Easter is lost. Plus bunnies do not lay eggs LOL
We never did Easter egg hunt as a child (it was never a tradition).
What tradition did you have instead?
I agree with you, the bunny+egg combo is just weird!
