Winterlude !

Winterlude started last week in the nation’s capital. Probably the best way to celebrate winter and the waaaay below freezing temperature !

The crowd staking on the Rideau Canal (left) and an ice replica of the Parliament.

Sculpting ice when it’s - 20C is a Canadian sport… And yes, it’s done with a chainsaw.

We even have an igloo and an inuksuk.

On the Quebec side, in Jacques Cartier’s park, it’s all about maple sugar, ice cabin and sliiiiide !
